- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪Very disappointed with lack of flexibility regarding a contact lens rx that was expired by ONE day when attempting to order new contacts. I have completely run out of contact lenses and after three days of phone tag (& with an appointment one month from now in place), I was finally told today that I would not be granted a temporary precsription to last me for a month until the appointment. I have never experienced such unreasonableness and obstructionist attitude from an ophthalmology office before. A similar situation occurred with Looking Glass Eye last year however, I was, after many painful phone conversations, able to get an extension. I considered leaving at that time. And as much as I liked my ophthalmologist, I won't be returning. It truly is customer service issues like this that cause people to leave a practice.
